Jackson Orchestra plans pearl day for 30th Summer Pops

The Jackson Symphony Orchestra marks 30 years with a July 30 Community day leading to a Pearl-studded Summer Pops concert at Jackson Community College Potter Center. The event features the Jackson Chorale, Clyde McKaney, a 6 pm picnic, art fair, and Michgan Shakespeare Tartuffe in a rich afternoon lineup. VIP tickets cost 15, general admission 10, students 5, picnic dinner 5 more.
