Boy Scouts Honor Flag Day at Governor's Mansion

Boy Scout Troop 374 held a dignified flag retirement ceremony during the Mary Marshall Chapter DAR June meeting at the Governor's Mansion in Marshall. Led by Scout Master Darius Dlugoss with Pat O'Donnell and Scott Blanchard, Scouts Sam Dlugoss Cody Shepard Jacob O'Donnell Caleb VanDyke Brock Garrison and Chase Austin conducted the service for DAR members on the mansion grounds. The Governor's Mansion Museum, owned and operated by the Mary Marshall Chapter DAR, remains open Sundays through summer and available for year round rental.

St Mary Parish Grilled Steak Dinners in Marshall

St Mary Catholic Church Marshall sponsors summer steak dinners as a joint effort by the Knights of Columbus and Rosary Altar Service Organization. Dine noon to 3 pm on July 17 August 21 and September 18 for grilled ribeye with sides and dessert at 7.50 dollars. lunch trays with hotdog chips dessert and juice are 2 dollars.
