Reuben Eating Contest Funds Fountain Clinic Charity
The 2011 Reuben Eating Contest at Pas trami Joe's on Jefferson Street begins 4 p.m. Saturday July 16 with eight sponsors and a kids event titled The Reuben Sports Challenge. Celebrity eaters and volunteers raise funds for The Fountain Clinic while participants collect jar donations around town. Last year donations exceeded 14000 dollars benefiting the uninsured and underinsured in the area.
