Marshall Public Schools adopts 2010-11 budget
The Marshall Public Schools board approved the revised 2009-10 budget showing a deficit of about $200,000 funded from reserves. The 2010-11 plan projects a $119,475 shortfall offset by cuts and efficiency gains, with per pupil funding set at $7,201 and enrollment forecasts for grades K-12. The district expects a food service fund deficit of $1,660 for 2010-11, covered by the fund balance.
