Marshall Public Schools adopts 2010-11 budget with deficit
The Marshall Public Schools Board of Education approved the 2010-11 budget on June 28 showing a deficit of about 119,475 dollars. It also revised the 2009-10 budget in the red by roughly 200,000 dollars due to enrollment declines and reduced state funding. Finance Director Scott Blankinship noted per pupil funding will rise to 7,201 dollars.
