Marshall Public Schools approves budget with 1m cuts and fund balance draw
The Marshall Board adopts the 2011-12 general fund budget after about 1.1 million from the district’s fund balance to balance a roughly 2.1 million shortfall. Breakfast and lunch rise 25 cents per meal. Scott Blankinship warns grim 2012-13 and 2013-14 outlook with further 1 million in cuts expected.
