At the January 5 Calhoun County Board of Commissioners meeting new District 6 Commissioner Vic Potter and District 7 Commissioner Gary Tompkins were sworn in by Chief Probate Court Judge Michael Jaconette for two-year terms. Derek King of District 5 was named chair, with Kathy-Sue Dunn of District 1 as vice chair.
