Nearly 50 student singers join Ars Voce Ensemble and local guests with faculty soloists Betty Picard and Mark Wells alumna Jacqueline King and bass baritone John Hummel. The free concert requests a freewill offering for future Kellogg vocal arts.
Michigan Youth Challenge Academy invites applications for the January class. Orientation dates December 7, 8, and 18 are required for eligibility. The 22 week resident program aims to help dropouts earn a GED or diploma, with 400 hours classroom study, leadership and career training, 40 hours of community service, and 15 college credits through Kalamazoo Valley.
