Youth visits veterans facility to decorate Christmas tree
Bellevue student Kenneth Bartha and two peers joined parents from the HDI Federal Center at Battle Creek Veterans Medical Facility on November 30 to decorate a tree for veterans. The event featured the Battle Creek Brass Band and a harmonica moment with veteran Dale, who served in the U.S. Army. Dale encouraged Kenneth to play with spirit and gifted him a harmonica. Volunteers are invited to learn more at volunteer.va.gov. Remember veterans this Christmas season.
