Lions White Cane Weekend Arrives With Community Drive
The Marshall Lions Club hosts White Cane Days April 29 30 to raise funds for eye care Leader Dogs for the Blind and glasses. The event recalls the white cane origins from England 1930 Peoria Illinois and later National White Cane Safety Day.

Play School Open House planned for April 27
Tekonsha Union Church UCC Tekonsha will host a spring open house on Wednesday April 27 from 9 to 11 am at the church corner Church and Randall Streets. Jase Bolger to Speak in Marshall at Schuler's
Michigan State Representative Jase Bolger will address his adopted hometown of Marshall on Wednesday April 20 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Schuler's Restaurant. The Speaker of the House will summarize legislature activities, provide future policy updates, and host a Q A session. The Marshall Business Association sponsors the event with a Chamber of Commerce and DDA briefing.
