Total revenue 11,587 with working complexes 12,700 and a loss of 1,913. Development costs noted as road expanded during month.

Nelson Fruit and Confectionery Busin ess Sold to H Seaney

H Seaney has bought out the J A Macdonald retail fruit and confectionery business on Baker Street Nelson and will take possession at month end. The sale will close up and bargain opportunities will be offered during his stay. Seaney, a pioneer merchant of Ymir, started there in 1807 and later operated in Nelson before returning to Ymir to buy out John McCorquodale’s business. His enterprise suffered a major fire on November 1 causing about 87000 in stock loss. Neaney wishes him success in the new venture.
