Naomi Chapter Eastern Star held a pleasant gathering Monday evening with new officers installed in three chairs due to departures. Mrs Flo Reymers and Mrs Lillian Churchyard served as Conductress and Associate Conductress, W F Powers as Patron, and Mrs Ida Murchie reported on a Grand Lodge trip. A social time followed with Jol ly games, refreshments, and witty toasts. The lodge presented Mr and Mrs Will McDonough a salad fork set as a parting token before their move to Woodland next Monday. The entertainment committee included Margaret Ambrose, Viola Goldsworthy, and Will Powers. The cats were supervised by Annie West, Carrie West, Rallens, Wilson, and J G R Smith. No more meetings will be held this summer.
