Malachite Copper Showing Activity Near Mase Valley
The Malachite property adjoining the Mase Valley mine is showing real activity with many miners employed and ore bins placed at the old Malachite incline. A pipeline for air runs from the McConnell mine to the incline and across the gileh to the Nateles claim portion of the estate. A crosscut reached ore Tuesday, suggesting a large and rich body, with potential heavy production in the near future.

Sixty tons of ore daily, mainly glory-holed, with an eight teen-man crew. The mine, once connected to the Carson River acid works, is poised to grow and enrich owners Jeek McKay-Davis and associates.
