County Commissioners Meet Work Includes New Districts and Licenses
The Board of Commissioners met Monday and approved bills. A new Perry district No. 22 was formed in the south valley, and new districts were created at Thomp smelter town. A deputy sheriff was set at 75 dollars per month for Wabuska. A southern valley road was laid out for county acceptance after deed. Ellis and Gigelos immoral house license revoked. Monthly officer reports filed. Special levy 25 cents for Yerington district school and 0.5 percent levy for Silver City tax. County properties planned for Buckskin purchase. Class Day Exercises at Yerington Grammar School 1912
The Yerington Grammar School Class of 1912 held its commencement in the High School building on the morning of June 7. Principal Waggoner gave a stirring address urging pursuit of literature, art, music, and sciences. Diplomas were not forwarded by accident, leaving the program to a close with songs, recitations, and a students’ choir.

Northern Light Shipping Ore Ships High Grade Load
The Northern Light lease by D. W. McKenzie and associates has begun shipments. Fourteen tons of ore arrived at the Yerington depot with a high copper face and a 12 percent ore grade. A new wagon road to the glory hole improves future shipments. Two miners were hoisted after a near-cable accident in the Combination shaft. no injuries, a new cable will be installed. License Issued For Hartshorn Putnam Nuptials At Luhrs Ranch
Miron C. Hartshorn of the Luhrs ranch secured a marriage license on Thursday to wed Miss Galena C. Putnam of Yerington. The ceremony will be held today or tomorrow. Both are well and favorably known in the vicinity. Wm. Cardinell visited from the Mason Valley mine last evening to attend the dance.
