Brakeman Hurt On Copper Belt Train
W. E. K. Harris, a Copper Belt brakeman, suffered a serious accident Tuesday night while loading ore. He was found unconscious in a car after being caught between an ore chute and the car top, then taken to Yerington hospital with a badly lacerated back and a forehead wound. He is expected to recover in a few weeks. he has a wife in Mason.

Barrett Kills Jim Laughlin in Yerington Shootout
Rancher Harry Barrett, living five miles south of Yerington, shot and killed horse breaker Jim Laughlin at Barrett ranch last night about 9. Barrett surrendered to Deputy Sheriff Ohe in Yerington and remained in county jail. An inquest was called by Justice Manchard as District Attorney Lothrop postponed proceedings until his arrival. Laughlin, previously in trouble over horses, died from buckshot entered his back and neck.

Baptists Dedicate New Church at Wabuska
The valley Baptists completed a church at W Duska and dedicated it last Sunday afternoon. Rev W T F Jones of Mason preached the sermon. Rev G W Black of Falcon originated the movement and aided the project. Regular services will be held by Baptists every other Sunday with Methodists on the alternate Sundays.

Wheeler Bullion Shipments Rise at Wheeler Mines
Tom Walden of the Incky producer gold bars for the Wheeler Mines Company arrived from the mine last Sunday with a shipment sent to Salt Lake City.
