Night at the Officers Club Amid Alert Denials
In a Britain bomber station bar, lieutenants from the States seek whisky during an alert but are refused by Cpl. James Mohafdahl and Pvt. Daniel Costanzo. Corporal Tiny, Pvt. Frederick Tard, and other airmen discuss alerts, raids, and memories as they wait. In the adjacent intelligence room Col. John Gerhardt and Lt. Col. David McKnight review maps and field orders for the next morning’s mission.
