Zephaniah Lovett aged 74 died suddenly from apoplexy at his Cleveland home Wednesday afternoon. The family reunion planned for Thursday to mark his birthday will proceed without him as his sons Edgar Lovett of Princeton University and Guy D. Lovett of the Detroit Cleveland Transportation Co. were en route to attend. The body was interred today at his old home. His wife was at his bedside at the time of death.
Mrs. Mary J. Catter of East Liberty street was seriously hurt Tuesday evening when a buggy overturned after a shying horse near Prairie Lane. Her companion, Mrs. Green of South Market street, escaped with minor bruises. a boy was unharmed. Mrs Catter fractured her right wrist and sustained hip bruises. A later examination found no broken hip. Mrs Catter remained at Dr Gresn’s home.
The Ohio Presbyterian Synod met in Springfield to decide whether Wooster University should be governed by the synod or the board of trustees.
