Cleveland businessman J J Phillips is said to hold options on about 90 percent of the Massillon coal fields. A Cleveland capitalists led venture with Senator Hanna as principal owner plans a 2000 acre Martin field operation to exploit an estimated 9 to 10 million tons. Wooster defeated Western Reserve in a see saw contest described as the most exciting ball game in Wooster in many a day. Arrested at Mt Eaton in Christ Stahl murder case
An Irishman known as Pat, about 30, was arrested in Mt Eaton on suspicion of involvement in the Christ Stahl murder near Nevarre.
