Wayne County pioneer Mamael Mowrey dies at age 74 after a long illness. Born in Pennsylvania he farmed across Chester Plain and Reedburg areas before moving to Franklin County Tennessee then to Moberly Missouri where he spent his final years with his son. Burial occurred at Reedburg with Rev John Hassrnytig officiating.
John Kitters paugh of 58 Lawrence avenue Canton, painter and decorator, testifies after Civil War service endured kidney trouble and back pain.
