The Woman's edition of The Daily Republican Wooster Ohio is eight pages bright and full of good things a patriotic jewel. Newark troupe The Woman's Relief Corps issued a patriotic edition that is a jewel in utterances and well patronized by business men. Merchants supported the issue and officials commend the edition as a credit to the town.

A Detroit Apple Creek report outlines a two month old death of a mysterious tramp named Duff Nouteman. His body, buried near Mt Maton, was stolen and sent to Cleveland as a medical specimen. A St Louis man named Routeman claimed to be his brother and sought the remains, saying the brother was distressed by a failed romance with a wealthy young woman.
