Work began to open Diamond alley from Wooster toward Columbus avenue after twenty five years of talk. Gifts from W. A. Wilson and others cover the cost, creating a public thoroughfare and an entrance for the city's fire apparatus in case of a blaze.
Five year old Warren, son of Isaac Fetters, residing near Jefferson, died Monday after sudden illness on Sunday morning. Funeral will be held at 102 near Wooster Cemetery vault.

The funeral will take place at Fredericksburg, her former home. Mrs Elisa Jacot, aged 68, widow of Augustus Jacot, died on Sunday at her Home near Bhreve of organic heart trouble. Mrs Jacot was an aunt of Henry Jacot, of this city.

County Auditor I Nu Hough on Monday placed the Dow Ignor tax for collection against James E Elliott's South Walnut street property. The claim covers weeks taxed since Elliott's arrest, totaling 211 dollars with a 20 percent penalty. The tax becomes a lien on the property and a local Building and Loan association with a mortgage on the Elliott property is drawn into the collection action.
Miss Katharine Kauffman aged 70 years and 5 days died at 6 30 Sunday morning at the home of her niece Mrs Joseph Pelt East Liberty Street of heart disease. She had heart trouble for months and was taken sick Saturday morning lingering until Sabbath. Born in Pennsylvania she spent most of her life in Wooster Ohio for about forty years. Funeral 1 30 P M Tuesday from the home with interment in Wooster cemetery. Survived by Mrs John S McClure and Mrs Josh Moors of Plain township Mrs Maris Wilson Independence Iowa and one brother Austin Kauffman heading in Iowa.

At each stop 40 minute lectures and classroom car talks will be held with no ads. University and state station staff including A C Prich?
