George Gerstenslager, through Fritz and Juarr, answers Charles Vanover’s charge by denying stones and cans were thrown at him. He claims the debris came from a two horse wagon and was moved within an hour, alleges Vanover or his family placed it there, and asserts Vanover is insane and incapable to sue. He says he defended himself after being assaulted and argues Vanover harbors a quarrelsome, insane disposition leading to needless litigation.
