Julius Horn Hurt In Engine Repair Accident
Julius Horn formerly of Wooster, brother of Phil John and Will Horn, sustained a deep cut on the hand while engine 2105 was being repaired at Columbia. Arteries were severed, heavy bleeding occurred, and he was promptly treated by Dr. Culbertson. The injury resulted from a crowbar slipping near a heat expanding wheel during tire removal.

Sunday School Worker Passes After Prolonged Illness

Runaway Horse Injures Cavplains Near Cemetery
In a Sunday evening incident a horse ran away after becoming unruly near a cemetery. Le Milles and Miss Leona Schafer were thrown from the buggy as the horse ran up a bank. Miss Schafer was pinned under the horse but freed after several minutes. Miller sustained knee and arm injuries while Schafer suffered severe cuts and bruises.
