Farmer Hartman Injured in Barn Hay Fork Accident
Aged farmer Jacob Hartman near Rowstarg was badly hurt Friday when a hay fork ladder slipped, throwing him to the barn floor. His right tibia and fibula were fractured with bone protruding. Dr L Sharick of Ashland and Dr White of Rowaburg treated and dressed the wounds, drilling holes and sewing the bones.
