Accidental Axe Blow Wounds Boy During Cleanup
In East Liberty street at the Spooner residence a storm toppled limbs. While father Mr Spooner and his 12 year old son Luke cleared debris with an axe, a blow grazed the boy’s forehead as he leaned back. The wound was deep but the skull fracture rumor proved false. Luke wore a bandage and was reported able to be out in the evening.
