Mrs. Louisa Fisher of big city files for divorce from Henry L. Mulvehill of Washington D C alleging false representations about a legacy of 3600 and 1000, a supposed lucrative horse business, and a mortgage to fund debauchery. She says he was cruel, drank to excess, abused her and their children, and has vanished claiming. He plans to contest and hire top Wooster lawyers. attached horse and buggy, while she accuses him of courting another widow during the same period.

William Darcus and his wife near Smithville were jolted when a fractious horse threw Mr. Darcus from a buggy on North Market street. The horse feared bicycles and later frightened again as A D Metz tried to control it at Quinby Opera House. Metz then found a young man to move the frightened horse to the city outskirts.
A worker at Reedshub near Honeytown sustained severe hand injuries when a crane gear failed and amputated two fingers. The accident required 18 stitches to close the wound and surgical care to prevent further loss of use.
A Keruban representative toured Wooster University laboratories led by Dr H N Mateer. The biology and chemistry facilities are praised as among the finest in the state, with eight rooms and advanced diagnostic equipment. Mrs John Lowe of West Salem near Albion Ashland County was knocked from a wagon by a runaway colt. Her head struck the ground as the horse ran nine rods before stopping. She suffered severe injuries to the back of the head and a badly bruised leg. Report from West Salem.
