Stabbed by Robbers Near Pennsylvania Depot Bridge
Albert Kinion known as Bert Kinion son of Russell Kinion of this city escaped a knife attack Friday night on the large bridge near the Pennsylvania depot after being paid off by his firm. He knocked the assailant down and, near the bridge’s end, was stabbed in the face before fending off another assault. His injuries were dressed at a nearby home.

Miss Belle Glass Dies After Short Illness at Cadiz
Miss Belle Glass of Madison Hill, 45, daughter of Fulton Glass, died Sunday morning in Cadiz after a brief pneumonia illness. For years she served as matron at the Fairmount Children's Home in Alliance, earning strong praise and later taking similar roles in Tuscarawas and Harrison counties. Her remains were brought to Wooster Sunday night, with funeral services Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev Littell, and she was laid in Wooster cemetery vault.
