Frank Childs quickly stopped Wild Bill in the fourth round of a heavyweight bout in Chicago. Childs, a colored fighter, used a straight left to the stomach and a right to halt Bill Hanrahan, finishing the sequence with a knockdown that sent Hanrahan to his corner for ten minutes of treatment.
