Orrville to host Paradise Heights Addition opening sale on August 22 by Lowrie Bros and M Helper. 32 acres purchased from Mr Brenneman, platted with streets graded. Lots priced from 25 to 150 dollars. 325 dollar lots await next Saturday sale to include outsiders. Promoters tout town growth and development potential with expansive views.
The Medina Gazette reports a local innovation by Robinson and Marshall, a cylinder sheet iron corn crib by J B Marshall. The circular iron sides, iron roof, central ventilator, and concrete base claim to prevent mold, resist pests, and keep corn dry. Cribs range 400 to 1000 bushels and sell for 65 to 126 dollars, with plans for a matching cylinder grain bin.
W Barnbart Sr of the Wooster Brick works plans to own a Jewel four cylinder touring car with forty five horsepower capacity and a fifty mile per hour guaranteed speed in a few days. The car will be driven by Sir Barnbart, marking a milestone in local motoring speeds.

Jacob Stein, father of Mr Stein, and his wife’s aunt were both found dead last Friday. Investigations consider that the woman killed the young man, not the other way around, amid alleged family troubles. Stein reportedly wrote a note after the catastrophe claiming he possessed a revolver he gave to the woman. she then shot him and killed herself. Stein survived for several hours after being found.
Thomas Mitchell, a section fireman on the Pennsylvania lines at Shreve, had a narrow escape Monday when he stood between east and west bound tracks. He was struck by the west bound train pilots, knocked down but not mangled by wheels, suffering a badly bruised arm.

Mrs. Margaret Linn widow of William Linn died at 8 a m Monday at her son in law Dr E B Gibbon home in Tiffin after three years away from Wooster. Funeral from Mrs A B Newkirk residence West Larwill Street at 3 pm Wednesday with interment in Wooster cemetery. Born in Westmoreland County Pa she was 82 and long active in Wooster’s Lutheran church. Surviving children include Mrs A B Newkirk Mrs Emma Gibbon Will Linn Jr and Mrs Fila Rankle.
