Special Town Meeting Votes on Water Bonds and Finances
The first post spring town meeting in the former high school hall drew about 125 voters. Alfred Tewksbury won the moderator race 64 to 37 over Joseph Davison as the warrant articles were addressed from water bonds to street grading and by law updates. The session, lasting about two hours, approved multiple appropriations and measures including a $40,100 bond issue for water works and related infrastructure, street and sewer projects, and a $30,000 tax anticipation loan.
