Citizens Support Investigating Committee Meeting on Municipal Gas Plant
A town meeting at the high school hall reviewed the investigating committee report on municipal ownership of a gas and electric light plant. Frank F. Cook was elected moderator, new contract with Suburban Gas and Electric Co. approved for 10 years with three months notice, night lighting required. The municipal ownership proposal was postponed. Committee expenses totaling $131.11 were approved.
