Blackwell News Highlights Local July Fourth Activities and Visits
Mrs. Frank Coal son recently returned from Alaska and visited her aunt Mrs. Flora Sanderson in Blackwell. Eskimo children were taught last year at Nuiqusut near the Arctic Ocean. July 4th celebrations featured an ice cream supper at the Blackwell Tabernacle with a red white and blue decor and a good program. Local residents and visitors including the Pattersons of Slaton and the Gastons of Mr. Pleasant called on relatives. Several families moved locations and others visited kin in Bronte Sweetwater Abilene.
