Winters Public School announces August pre-registration for children entering kindergarten in the 1975-76 school year. Elementary principal George Beard notes most were pre-enrolled at the spring roundup, but some new entrants may still register. All pre-enrolled pupils will receive mail notices.
Beard says times to register for the new school year. Kindergarten children will attend school all day for one semester. Those in the first semester may not be eligible for the second. if enrollments exceed capacity, assignment will follow age with the youngest in the second semester.
Winters pool manager Randy Loudermilk announces a Senior Life Saving course for ages 15 and up at the Winters Municipal Swimming Pool. Tandy Medford will teach the class with dates to be announced and further details available at the pool.
