Friendship Circle Hosts July Birthday Party at Merrill Nursing Home
The First Baptist Church sponsored a July birthday party at Merrill Nursing Home with four residents celebrating. Ethel Johnston Elmer Bryan Buford Owens and Beth Pumphrey had birthdays this month. Chester Busher was transferred to an Abilene hospital after a broken hip and is recovering. Rev J B Tierce led the Sunday service, Clyde Reid sang, Brenda Day played piano, and church members ran Wednesday Bible study.
