Elm Creek Water Control District board meets Friday July 18 1975 at 8 p.m. in Winters Chamber of Commerce office to confirm the tax rate and ratio and to consider bond issues. Friendship Circle Hosts July Birthday Party at Merrill Nursing Home
The First Baptist Church sponsored a July birthday party at Merrill Nursing Home with four residents celebrating. Ethel Johnston Elmer Bryan Buford Owens and Beth Pumphrey had birthdays this month. Chester Busher was transferred to an Abilene hospital after a broken hip and is recovering. Rev J B Tierce led the Sunday service, Clyde Reid sang, Brenda Day played piano, and church members ran Wednesday Bible study.

WT Western Texas State U Hosts 23rd Instrumental Camp
