Mass Said for Reese Cortez in Winters Community
A Rosary was held Friday evening in Spill Memorial Chapel for Reese Cortez 65. A funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday at Mount Carmel Catholic Church by Rev Julius Johnson. Burial followed in Lakeview Cemetery. Cortez a native of Enchinal Webb County came to Runnels County in 1900 later moving to Winters. Survivors include his wife four sons Raymond Frank Feliz George of San Angelo three daughters Irene Walles Tillie Cortez Armandia Cortez all of Winters four brothers Jake Ed Felix Otto 30 grandchildren one great grandchild.
