Archie Isom Bagwell 83 died at 2:55 am Saturday April 13 in Winters Municipal Hospital after a April 10 stroke. Funeral 2 pm Monday Bradshaw Methodist Church officiated by Rev Merle Abbott and Rev Chester Wilkerson. Burial Bradshaw Cemetery. Survived by two sons Raymond of Ballinger Arzo of Robert Lee. three daughters Essie Smith Bradshaw Lavelle Deaton Winters Melva Orr Bradshaw. one brother Virge Bagwell Wichita Falls. 11 grandchildren 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at Spill Memorial Chapel for Mrs Floyd Cummings 76 of Winters TX. Officiant Rev Harry Grantz of First Baptist Church noted burial in Fairview Cemetery. She died Saturday April 13 after a stroke. Survivors include two sons Buck Winters and Bill Shreveport a daughter Mrs R E Miller Abilene eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers named.

Santiago E. Fernandez, 71, of Winters, died Wednesday at Santa Anna Hospital. Funeral services were held at Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Winters with burial at Lakeview Cemetery, under direction of Spill Funeral Home. He was born December 30, 1896 in Uvalde and moved to Rock Springs before settling in Winters in 1956. He married Ascension Falcon in 1920. Survivors include his wife, three sons Sebastian of Ballinger, Joe and Isaiah of Winters, two daughters Virginia Sanmecuiel of Kerrville and Consuelo Aranda of Gustin, two brothers Gavino of Camp Wood and Sabastino of Robert Lee, and three sisters Juanita De La Rosa of Kerrville, Francisca Lungurrio and Nicolasea Aguillar of Rock Springs.
