School Menu Bulletin for April 16 17 18

The menu lists meals for Tuesday April 16 with Hamburgers or combination sandwich, red beans, French fries, fruit salad, devils food cake and milk. Wednesday April 17 offers Chili beans grilled cheese Chef's salad puffed raisins cookies and milk or chocolate milk. Thursday April 18 serves Macaroni and cheese little smokies cabbage and apple salad lazy daisy cake French sticks butter and milk or chocolate milk.

Southside YWA Met At Roy Rice Home

Southside YWA of the Southside Baptist met Tuesday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rice. Betty Knight and Zola Crowley hosted. The program on What is a Missionary was presented by Knight Crowley Sample and Bates. Plans were made to buy a library book case and obtain religious books for the church library. The next meeting is April 16 with Zola Crowley on Route 4 at 7 p m. Refreshments were served to six members and three visitors.

Winners For Tops Club Discusses Dieting Program

Mrs. Boyd Bedford led a dieting program at the Winners For Tops Club meeting at The Den. Queen for the week was Mrs. Wesley Hays. D. W. Williams demonstrated weaving a Pom Pom pillow with wool thread and will finish it at the next session. Members present included Mesdames Ed Donica, Marvin Bedford, Milt Bunger, Boyd Bedford, W. J. Briley, Carl Pendergrass, Bill Millorn, Bert Humble, Tommy Burton, Charles Pinkerton, Benny Graves.

Sew and Sew Club Elects Officers at Wingate Church Meeting

The Sew and Sew Club met at Wingate Methodist Church Hall with Minnie Williams as hostess. Wingate 4 H Girls presented a program on nutritious foods. New officers were elected for the club. The next meeting is set for April 16 with J R Woodfin as hostess.

A non-denominational Bible class organized by Winters churches will start Sunday April 14 at the American Legion Hall. Sessions begin at 9 30 a m and end before church services. Joe Emmert leads as teacher and director with future leaders from several denominations. All adults not in regular Bible study are invited regardless of race creed or color.

The Sub Deb Club met in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank K. Antilley with Cindy Pinkerton organizing and Eileen Faubion presiding. A list of attendees included Cindy Antilley Joy Awalt Kei Bedford Gayla Beall and others. the meeting closed with benediction.

Mr and Mrs Charles Hugh Dodson announce the birth of a son Chad Kynor on March 25 at Graham General Hospital. The child weighs 9 pounds 12 1 2 ounces and has an 8 year old sister Charla and a 5 year old brother Chuck. Grandparents are Mrs Zula Bryant of Graham and Mrs Floy Dodson of Newcastle.
