In weekend Pee Wee action three games produced tight finishes and clear margins. Hawks edged Sonics in overtime 22-14 after a 14-14 tie. Roger Cortez led Hawks with 15 points and John Esquivel had 9 for Sonics. Nighthawks shutout Parrotts 27-0 with Becky Palmertree scoring 16. 76ers beat Knicks 20-17 as Robert Johnson added 9 and Scott Billups 7 for Knicks.

Junior Paper Staff Holds Rehab Fund Drive
The Winters Junior High School newspaper Shooting the Breeze raised about 75 dollars for the West Texas Rehabilitation Center in Abilene. A slave auction organized by the staff was the main fundraiser last week with staff members Randy Drake Reggie Boles Janet Jacob Terry Gerhart and Jim Bob Webb among others.

FB Couple to Attend Texas Farm Bureau Presidents Conference
A Runnels County Farm Bureau couple from Miles, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Pelzel, will attend the Texas Farm Bureau presidents conference in Washington DC April 22 24 1975. They will meet Congressman Krueger and the two U S Senators, tour the Department of Agriculture and other sights, and join a banquet featuring William Kuhfuss and the Washington staff. The county FB qualified for the trip by adding 53 new members and renewing 584 by March 31.
