Mrs. C. T. Sanders Dies After Heart Attack in Hico

Clide T. Sanders, 49, a Winters native, died at Hico City Hospital after a heart attack at home in Stephenville. Funeral held at Spill Memorial Chapel with Rev. Emmett Brooks. burial in Lakeview Cemetery. Survivors include husband Michael, daughter Lily, son Michael Louis, two siblings and a granddaughter.

Long-Time Winters Banker John Q. McAdams Dies at 86

John Q. McAdams 86 longtime Winters banker died Sunday at Ballinger Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He founded Winters State Bank in 1906 and served as cashier then president. Surviving are his wife, one son John Jr., two daughters, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Burial was at Lake View Cemetery.

The Goal Diggers Club met Monday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Walker with Carla as hostess. They discussed a Summer camp and drew names for Goal Kickers.
