Burlington Iowa reports a triple tragedy as Gustave Krantz driven by jealousy and whisky uses a revolver to fatally wound his wife and mother in law and then wounds himself. Wires tapped between here and Hartford aided a horse racing fraud at Sheephead Bay where Extra Lavish and Bengal were heavily played and later won. Pools paid out over 2000 before a room balked at tickets above 4000. Similar swindle said to have occurred near Boston as Western Union investigates.
