Democratic Convention in Minneapolis Day Two Chaos and Oratory
The day opened with speeches and delays as credentials and organization reports hung fire. Senator Mills and Palmer drew loud responses while William L. Wilson was introduced as permanent chairman. Rules were adopted, and a long session followed with prayers, band music, and tense exchanges before the resolutions and platform were finally presented for adoption.
