School Board Approves Budget and Staff for Sharpsville
Northern Community School Board met August 26 1972 to approve the corporation budget after a closed session. They named 19 substitute teachers including Elizabeth Niciel and Vickey McCorkle, authorized a fifth grade contract for Vivian Butner, and hired migrant program aides. The board discussed Sears Kokomo bids for draperies and classroom renovations, approved 43 claims totaling 13229.09, and retained a construction balance of 10826.25. The new Tri Central High School timetable and student handbook were approved, with extensive rules on absences, tardies, schedules, and campus policies outlined for Tri-Dental High School.
