Windfall Softball League crowns Dennis Kernels champions
The Dennis Kernels won the first Windfall Softball League Tournament sweeping the field. Donnie Jones powered the final with four home runs and seven RBI while teammates Dave Simms and Ray Jordan collected multiple extra base hits. Trojan Seed, though defeated in the final, won three games in the event and showed strong play. Dick Hadley and Jerry Williams shared pitching duties for the losers. The league’s inaugural season concluded amid strong crowd support and promises of growth next year.
