Funeral services for Mrs. Rebecca Grim wife of Winchester merchant George W Grim were held at 3 pm at the family residence 603 South Main street conducted by Rev J W H Beals of Market Street Methodist Episcopal Church assisted by Rev George Bowers of Grace Lutheran. Relatives from Baltimore and Pennsylvania attended. Interment followed at Mount Hybron Cemetery. Pallbearers were nephews Charles P George W Thomas John F Kremer Oscar H Cornwell and Harry M Baker.

Fossil Find Prompts Local Exhibition in Morgan County West Virginia
John M. Troxell finds a petrified prehistoric fossil along the Great Cacapon river in Morgan county. The 75 pound relic appears to be spine and ribs from a long extinct animal and will be examined by experts. Troxell has bought 160 acres of timber land along the Cacapon to open a sand mine.

Frank Lynch Dies in Jefferson at 56
Frank P. Lynch died yesterday at his home near Halltown of consumption aged 56. He was a leading Jefferson County Democrat and served as clerk of the Circuit Court from 1879 to 1885. Survived by a widow five children a sister and a brother Rev Father J W Lynch of Roanoke Va. Remains to be interred at Charles Town.

Water wagon driver injured after brewery wagon fall
Charles Sailor of Atlantic City, who drove the water wagon for six months without harm, fell from a brewery wagon within an hour of starting duty. He suffered a head cut and a broken arm, was taken to hospital, and is expected to recover before returning to the water wagon.
