In Sergent Kentucky on October 27 eight year old Johnnie Adams, son of Elder David Adams, accidentally shot his older brother Willie Adams ten with a 12 gauge shotgun. Runaway accident near Lexington injures Shafer Bowden women
A Paris pike wreck near Lexington left W C Shafer in a coma after a rockaway rollover that also injured Miss Willa Bowden and Miss Nannie Bowden and bruised Mrs Bowden. The team, driven for J A Hughes, crashed into a buggy driven by Mr Jones, injuring him. Rescue crews and doctors treated the injured. Shafer’s skull was crushed and he remained unconscious.
