Allied Maintenance: A 78 Year Family Cleaning Empire
The family owned Allied Maintenance began 78 years ago with cleaning and kerosene work at the Jersey City pier. Now 12,000 employees clean 150 million square feet daily across the U S, from basements to hospitals, with diversifications into fueling, aircraft maintenance, baggage handling, HVAC and more. The firm also highlights practical tips like a six foot broom handle and daily sidewalk washing.
