Fire rescuer hero saves babe from burning country home
Irvin Price a traveling salesman with Rouss Fire Company rescued a six month old child from a burning wooden house near Gore Wardensville yesterday. He climbed smoke filled stairs to reach the crib and carried the infant to safety as flames consumed the dwelling believed to have started from a defective flue. The owner’s first name was George. most furniture was saved despite the structure’s collapse after about 30 minutes.
