The Frederick County circuit grand jury returned 15 indictments this week, including two bigamy cases, multiple burglaries and false pretences, and an escaped convict Willie Jackson alias Joe Brown who was recaptured and sentenced to an additional year. One woman Elizabeth Jones was freed after no indictment. Jones remains a fugitive. Indictments also charged W. A. Lacey for fraud against Theresa Milburn and her son John B.
