Uncle Sam will select junior clerks and tabulating machine operators from civil service exams held in Virginia and other cities. Applications must reach the Civil Service Commission by November 2. Exams cover spelling, penmanship, clerical tests, arithmetic, with pay from 1260 to 1440 yearly. Eligible ages 18 to 45, former military given preference. Exam sites include Richmond, Norfolk, Abingdon, Alexandria and others.

County Accepts Conway Property for Child Welfare Home

Two Jones Jurors Suffer Injuries in Service
