Federal agent shot during raid near Cheltenham Maryland
A federal prohibition agent was shot and seriously wounded during a raid on a moonshine operation near Cheltenham Maryland. Harry D. McMunn, 39, of Leonardtstown, was wounded in the head and chest and taken to Providence Hospital Washington where he was not expected to recover. Four other agents exchanged fire with the moonshiners who fled the scene.
